I'm in! Thanks, Jeanne, for the heads up on the deadline or I would've missed the sign up for July.

Mailed postcards to everyone today.  The local postal sorting center is no more efficient now than before, so I rather doubt that anyone will receive a card before the holiday.  So I'm wishing you all a Happy 4th here:

I mailed my group postcards yesterday.  I plan to send more cards out next week.

I'm having trouble logging into PBS on both my iPad and computer.  Ugh! So frustrating.  I have to just walk away, so you may not hear from me over the holiday weekend.

I hope everyone has a fun, safe and magical Independance Day weekend, no matter how you celebrate.  I'm excited for a 3-day weekend with some low-key family gatherings and days spent on the lake.

Thank you Towana for the Montana pc. I think it's great that you travel as much as you do. Mrs.C and I probably won't be getting out much this summer with the family things we have to deal with. Hopefully everything will be worked out soon and we can get back to our short trips.

Found a bundle of over 60 postcards at a rural garage sale the other day. They were selling some real nice antiques for next to nothing! I was good and only brought home the handfull that I had an immediate use for.smiley  So yes, the postcards came home, so be looking for vintage Michigan postcards in the mail. They are a definite blast from the past, rich with history. Had enough variety for everyone to have something different plus 6 or 7 for next month. Also had lots of duplicates .....oh! They cost me a whole dollar bill! surprise

Big mail day today. Thank you to:

Claire for the moose card from Rocky Mountain National Park. Id love to run off to the mountains to cool down

Rebecca for the wild flowers in North Carolina card. Beautiful scenery!

Towana for the Montana, Big Sky Country card. I love that it has lots of pictures. The hike to the waterfall sounds fun. We haven't been able to so much hiking since I started watching my grandson. Now he's getting big enough to take him with us

Al for the card from Amsterdam. Beautiful pictures and I had to laugh at your Amsterdam is like Tour de France lol

Amy for the Peel Museum, Arkansas card. My husband and I love to seek out small museums and out of the way places.

Today's postcards:

Claire, thank you for the postcard! A beautiful photo of the inside of the Teatro la Fenice in Venezia! Very elegant!

Rebecca, thank you for the postcard about the Blue Ridge Parkway.  We were in NC on May 18 for our oldest granddaughter's high school graduation party.

I received Lake Chatuge Hayesville NC from Rebecca today. Nope haven't been there any of the trips I have taken that way. I love little lakes too.

Also Big Bend from Claire and yes so far no serious storm right in my area...just plenty of rain
