Thanks to all of you who sent sympathy cards and notes to help with my grieving when my husband died May 18 of heart failure.  He means more to me than life.  What I would have given to trade places with this wonderful man.  To honor him, all who have left our world in the past year, the living things that help us greet every day we live plant some trees.  Trees provide shade, homes and food for so many animals and birds.  DH wanted 5,000 trees planted anywhere and everywhere in our world.  There just aren't enough trees.  Our current administration doesn't seem to understand their importance but we as individuals can do what we can.  So choose to plant tree or more.  The Arbor Day Fdn. gives the lowest prices and plants trees in our national forests.  However, plant in your yard, your city or its park, in a national forest or in any national lands.  Just jot here what you plant, how many and where.  Help reach that 5,000 mark.  PLANT TREES FOR LIFE!
