Hi All,

I was wondering if those of you are Karen Kingsbury fans could give me some similar authors to try. I'm really just getting into Christian Fiction, and I'm working my way through her booklist. I LOVE her books and would love to find similar books/authors.

Thanks

I read a lot of Christian fiction. Probably one of the authors that comes close to the same kind of writing is Tracie Peterson. Her's are more historical as well. Lori Wick is another one you might try. Terri Blackstock is another great author if you like a little mystery thrown in.

There are so many good Christian authors. I have amassed way too many on my TBR list. Check out my shelf as I add books regularly and they are mostly Christian fiction or homeschool books. Thanks.

I think Susan Meissner is one of the most similar authors to Kingsbury in the way she tackles the really painful topics but always has a joyful if not happy ending.

I would have to add Deborah Raney to this list.  I just discovered her recently, and I like her books just as much as Karen Kingsbury's.  :o)

I like this site for comparing authors.  http://www.literature-map.com/karen+kingsbury.html  Unfortunately there are some misspellings, but at least you can get an idea.

I just finished This Side of Heaven by Karen Kingsbury and it is really good! Deborah is giving it away on her blog this week. It's worth it.
