Pierce is a wonderful author, and the conclusion to this series is no exception. There is a lot of action as well as some laughs and moments where Kel's kindness cannot fail to inspire. A wonderful story!

I love Tamora Pierce. Her novels feature strong heroines that make a difference, care deeply about ssuch things as freedom and the helpless, and are detailed and uplifting--as well as funny.
LADY KNIGHT is the culmination of a series of four books: FIRST TEST, PAGE, SQUIRE, LADY KNIGHT--that chronicle the struggle of one young girl, Keladry of Mindelan, to become Tortall's first female, or distaff, knight in over one hundred years.
She faces opposition: bullying, a teacher unsure of the idea of female knights, and her own growing beliefs that the helpless--including animals--should be protected. She also has a secret: someone who aids her in her quest to become a knight.
This fourth book finds Keladry off to war with Scanra, a surprising commission, and a true quest ordered by the mysterious, ans spooky Chamber of the Ordeal, which all prospective knights must face before taking their spurs...
A great book, one I have reread repeatedly, which I always enjoy revisiting. Give it a try...
