A grand adventure for the last English debutant of Hadley Green. You just know she is going to fall in love with her Scottish laird captor, & he with her, so there is your happy ending. What I didn't expect was the rather messy family ending. Some readers will be put off by it, others will find it a fitting conclusion to the series. I really enjoyed Daria's spirit & 'pluck' throughout the entire story despite everything.
