I'm not going to lie. This is a long one. You may have seen many variations of the movies, and thought "Hey, this is extremely disturbing. There's no possible way this could get anymore creepier."

Wrong.

The book goes into more details. Details I wouldn't even dare to explain to anyone. I suggest picking it up and reading it.

Don't eat while you're doing that, though. Trust me.

Even if you have seen both movie adaptations of this book, it is absolutely worth the read. It is lightyears more disturbing than the movies, with every graphic detail laid out in print for you to imagine. The multiple vantage points makes the story feel much more WHOLE than the movies ever did. Jumping around in perspective from Oskar to a new vampire to Eli to Hakkan made you feel what it was like in everyone's point of view. Disturbing, fascinating, and horrific, this is a book for all horror lovers.

This book was hard to read. Some of the terms were hard to get. The book has a good plot and I think the movie would be better then the book. But I made it to the end and it has some odd twists.

Did you read Shelley's Frankenstein and know it's not about the Legosi monster? Then this book will go into your list of best books ever read. It's an ADULT book, with situations that will make your skin crawl. Recommended for the lit buff.
