At this point I'm the 3rd reader to give a rating---so before my rating it was at a 2.8 so someone didn't like it but didn't leave any remarks

I'll stay in the middle for this one, it is written in a format that I'm very tired of--before/after, then/now etc.
As one reviewer said it as at least 3 POV chapters, some going back 30 years to a long ago unsolved murder, well that's fine but was mostly just a boring wordy not well written story
I skipped a lot to finally get to a point that I knew where it was going and 'who dunnit', the pages I skipped I didn't go back to try to 'find' anything I missed

I'll probably try another by Ryder
