Convaluted love triangle with 3 girls and a guy, I found the story a bit hard to follow, could have been a good story just written strange.

Really enjoyed this book a lot. Kept you in suspense and made you want to keep reading than put it down. That is a good book. It also provided a lot of great facts and details about this case. Great book for true crime enthusiasts.

this book was ok-really has detailed details that are a little time consuming. I wish there had been more about the main "characters" their lives, etc. I think he devoted three whole pages to the lives of the people who ended up being found guilty. I went to high school with one of the persons convicted and there could have been alot more said.
an ok read--even better if you skim to the parts you really want to see.

'Lipstick & Blood' by John Kearney felt kind of like your typical lesbian love triangle, throat-slicing, teen murder. If there is such a thing, and I guess from this book there is, any fault in the book comes from characters who are such stereotypes. Hysterical drama-queen can't decide which sex she prefers, so she marries a fairly standard, nicely employed man for a meal ticket & continues an affair with a female friend. Female friend ends up in a pool of blood. Who all will end up in court is hard to determine for police. I could see quite a bit of work in exploring background and it wasn't badly written. Pool book but not especially gripping. I did think the writing was good.
