Hi,

Coming Home  by Rosamunde Pilcher is one of my all time favorite books.  I just love her writing style, character development, clear descriptions and of course her storylines.  I have read all her books, but this is a standout for me.

I am wondering if anyone can recommend something similar.

Thanks,

Laura

Did you read her book September or Winter Solstice?  I think you might like Paullina Simons.

Yes I did read those.  Loved September.  That's my second favorite Pilcher book.

I haven't read paulina Simons.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Another author that is very good is Pat Conroy although I had a hard time reading his new book, "South of Broad".  He wrote "The Prince of Tides" which is one of my all-time favorites.  Maeve Binchey is another great author.

Elizabeth Goudge

Marcia Willett

some (but not all) Mary Stewart - I would recommend trying Rose Cottage and The Ivy Tree
