I give this book 5 stars. Has romance, humor and intrigue all in one book.

This book was just plain fun its hard to imagine how government conspiracy, flight from the law and assassins, death and betrayal could be construed as comedy, but the writing and dialogue keep this surprisingly lighthearted. How could it not be when one of the primary characters is a comic book persona? Too bad Angelina cant have her own sequel.
Excellent romantic adventure! My first novel by Lori Wilde but it won't be my last. I fell in the love with not only the main characters but also the sub-plot characters. It was a happy ending for every one of them and a truly enjoyable reading experience!
Navy secret agent Joel Hunter and comic creater, Marlie Montague meet and now are blowing the doors off a full-blown consoiracy with more double agents than a Bond flick. But between shootuots and squealing tires, the mystery that is Marlie is making Joels heart go thump thump thump.
-Cute, surprisingly funny!

This novel has a nice balance of humor, sexy romance, and a large splash of danger.
silly, light hearted mind candy.
She's a comic book creator and he's undercover. Now they must face the bad guys and help save the world. A good over the top story.
Comic-Book Heroine Angelina Averger battles dastardly criminals and alien invasions. But her creator Marlie Montague's life isn't as exciting...until she opens the front door and finds the business end of a pistol pointed right at her. Her plan: to channel Angelina fast! Recruiting her new next-door neighbor, who looks like a rock-hard action hero, couldn't hurt either...
The last thing Navy secret agent Joel Hunter expected on this surveillance gig was a luscious brunette bursting through his window. Now he and Marlie are blowing the doors off a full-blown conspiracy with more double agents than a Bond flick. But in between shootouts and squealing tires, the mystery that is Marlie is making Joel's heart go thump thump thump. Is she a femme fatale or an endearing bookworm? And how does she leave him both shaken and stirred.

Loved it. Action plus romance.
Fair read - it had it's moments. As the artist/writer of an underground comic that drips with conspiracy theories worthy of half a dozen wild-eyed crackpots, Marlie sends her alter ego Angelina Avenger to save the world on a regular basis. Now she seems to have triggered a very negative to response one of her theories and needs to save the world for real. If she only had an idea which one...
