still reading Rex stout. one thing I noticed. These books started in the early 1930's. They don't have the twist at the end that some more modern mysteries have. |

A Family Affair by Caro Peacock 4 stars out of 5. This book is number 3 in the series. Set is 1839 England. Excellent historical mystery series. The characters are strong and of lots of personaility. You can imagine having a conversation with them. Lots of good historical background. Queen Victory is only 2 years into her reign. Love the references to Little Vicky. Strongly recommend the series. |

I finished Trespasser (Mike Bowditch, Bk 2) by Paul Doiron. Very good., I especially like the descriptions of life in rural Maine. Reading a non fiction now.., |
