While on a family outing on the Staten Island Ferry, Carolee Grogan walks into the Ladies restroom and disappears. Lt. Eve Dallas can't figure out why the Homicide Division would be called to the scene of a missing person's incident. But when she sees the huge amount of blood in the Ladies room, Eve knows someone died in there. What happened to Carolee Grogan? Is that her blood or did she witness a murder? Where is the killer? These are the questions Eve and her team must answer.

This is one of my favorite novellas of the series since there is a lot of depth to the story. My rating: 5 Stars.
