This is cute and fun little book about boys who are afraid of the dark and what it brings monsters! The two boys are afraid to go to bed, and then they think they hear a...monster...trying to get into their room. I cannot tell you more without telling you the rest of the story, but the ending is something that certainly wasn't expected by my two little girls! I appreciated the twist at the end.
I would suggest that you read this to your little ones during the day time. My girls said they were afraid of monsters which might be in their room and convinced me to allow them to sleep in my bed for the next few nights. I even used my monster spray recipe, but it just didn't work. :(
