Wisecracking Major Sean Drummond has been ordered to be co-counsel for an army officer stationed in South Korea, accused of rape and murder. When it turns out that the lawyer he is co-counsel with is his law school antagonist, well, that's just the beginning of Major Drummond's problems with a case that seems to get more complicated at every turn. Good book!
