Top criminal attorney Bill McArthur has a beautiful, popular, athletic wife who was a good mother to their kids, a fast-track career, influential friends and had just invested in the top nightclub in town. Then two men burst in the house and kill his wife. The sherriff says he did it, McArthur said he didn't. The grand jury believes McArthur. However, the court trial follows finds a conspiracy to murder. This prompts another murder case to be re-examined and the murderer gets life in prison.
