So continues the story of Ever & Damen. Torn apart to be together again as the cycle continues over and over. They just CANNOT catch a break... Ever is at the point where she is now getting on my nerves. She did (towards the end) start coming around a little better, however, she ALWAYS manages to make everything about HER which is why I cannot blame Haven sometimes for saying what she does. Important Choices are made in this book and I cannot wait until I read Everlasting!

I actually found myself liking this book so much better than the last one. Ive read some mixed reviews on here and I dont feel that they are all right. Mostly Ive heard that there has not been even a tiny bit of resolution in the story line. Well thats not really true while they still dont have the antidote some things have progressed. I think Ever has finally started acting like an adult. Although it happened almost halfway through the book it was still a big step forward. What I fail to understand is how she keeps making these big mistakes why didnt she watch her whole past lives in the beginning when she first learned of the hall of records. I would have especially since knowledge is power and she needed the upper hand on many occasions.

I do however also hate Haven god Im so glad at the way that ended.

What will piss me off though is if in the next book she starts to doubt Damien again. She love him shes not sure because he lies to her has been the story from the beginning.

I think if you loved the first book but were unsure of the last one check this one out anyway you may find that you love the series again.

Haven is really a major player in this book. You quickly learn that she can't handle the new power that she is given.

2 stars for wrapping some stuff up! Yay!
1 star for the gawd (ha-ha) awful dialogue (if I read the word "fug" or "fugging" one more time...you're supposed to be out of control, but can't bring yourself to swear? Please...), unbelievable characters, and slow pace. This series should have wrapped up a couple of books ago. There was enough story for a trilogy, and adding three extra books to this series has not added anything to it.
Splitting the difference and going with 1.5 stars.

I feel the need to complete these series once I start them. I can only hope there is a decent resolution waiting at the end of this.
