I LOVED this book! Two souls who so need each other meet in a hospital art program. Lenni is a 17 year old who is dying a slow death, and Margot is an 83 year old woman with medical issues of her own and a very colorful past. We learn of their backgrounds, as they put together 100 years of their lives in pictures and stories. Keep the tissues handy!

Loved this book, loved the characters, loved the writing style. Brava to author Marianne Cronin.

Lenni is 17 yo with terminal illness. She's bored of course, being 17 and stuck in hospice.
Margot is 83 yo with medical issues but has enjoyed a full and colorful life. One day Lenni wanders into an art class for seniors and with persistence is allowed to join the group. She and Margot end up as partners and enjoy each other's stories and art. Leni proposes they tell their life stories in art by each year, thus 100 years of art in a touching project.

I laughed, I cried while thoroughly enjoying this book.
