A David book for the younger baby/toddler.
Oops! by David Shannon
This is a board book, with simple text in large print. It has nice colors and simple drawings. The first page states: David's first words were... Ball/Uh-oh! as the picture shows David looking out the door through the broken glass. The next words Dog/Oops! and it looks like a Cairn Terrier which has had the child's food dumped on his back from the high chair. Ride/Whee! as the child is on a giraffe trike. The center has a full page picture of a baby learning to eat with food all over his face with Eat/Yum! noted. Bath/Ahh! on the page after and Mama/zzzzzzz as the child is held by his Mama. I had picked this up for my youngest grandchild and one of the older ones kept saying the picture of the baby looked like Chucky. I don't watch horror movies so I put it up while the older child was at my home.
