Thomas and Viv Adler are attractive, successful, with well-mannered children and a beautifully restored home. One morning, when they wake up to find their porch has been pelted with eggs. The Adlers are helpless as the assaults escalate into violence, and worse. Everyone in the Adler family is keeping a secrets from the outside world and each other. They need to figure out who the attacks are against. The book has many twists and turns that kept the pages turning until the explosive ending when we find out the reason for the attacks. The writing is good and the characters are very interesting. You begin to realize that the family brought a lot of the problems on themselves by being so secretive. I will definitely be seeking to read more by this author and I recommend the book to those who enjoy mystery/suspense. Thanks to NetGalley and Gallery Books for a free copy for an honest review.

The book The Perfect Family is written in four different character's views, which made it interesting to see what each character thought was going on with the others and with the family situation. It does keep you guessing as the thriller unfolds and to be honest, I was surprised in the end. Like most books I read, I read it aloud to my husband. His opinion is that it is quite far-fetched and many of the situations would not, or could not logically happen.
