How dose one go about finding a place for an pet?  My DD friend due to unforeseen circumstances, is unable to keep her dog.  London is a Pom and a very sweet dog, but we can't keep her either.  We have cats and are just providing a stop gap measure so this girl can explore options for placement. Any wisdom would be so welcomed.

I have been put in touch with some people trying to help people keep their pet as they transition.  We have a interview this week and then we will see if they can find a place for her, wish us luck!

That's not the half of it, this girl 23 also has custody of her 13 year old sister, after their mother died in a drowning accident a year ago 4th of July.

Wow my heart goes out to her and her sister. Its really hard these days as most rescues no longer take owner surrenders. However maybe a toy breed rescue might make exceptions for them because they have been through such a rough time this past year.
