Great, helpful book. It starts off helping you determine your parenting style so you understand why you do what you do and how you can best work with your teen. Then it discusses teen growth/change and Teen Individuation, the maturation and separation process all teens experience. Then it goes into "communication" so you can work with your teen. There is a section, at the end, where specific issues are addressed however, issues are addressed throughout, as well.
Samples of issues discussed are: socializing, social connectedness, mischief, making agreements & following through, family meetings, TV, empowering vs. enabling, friends, curfews, siblings, parties, clothing, hair, money, chores, rooms, dating, school, electronics, mental heath, sex, pregnancy, and more.
It also lists other reading resources to help you.
