Sci-Fi Romance. This is actually Part 2 of a series by Janet Miller. The first story in the series is called A Promise Made, and is only available in e format from New Concepts. You don't have to read the first one to enjoy this story. It is a very good romance all on its own. He is the General of the military of a colony that wants freedom from Earth. She's an Earth doctor looking for a new life in space. She holds him responsible for the death of her friend. It all works out. Good story.
Quite an unexpected treat. If you are into scifi and romance then this is the book for you. Well thought out society in the future with interesting twists and a lot of romance to boot.
