ISBN 1590604644 - If you skip the rest of the review, read this paragraph! Board books are, in general, for children under 3 years old, which makes this a very odd book. It actually comes with a **WARNING** on the back: "Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts."

The pages are thick cardboard which allows them to stand up to a lot of rough handling. The covers are half as thick and covered with a layer of foam and cut in the shape, basically, of the puppy on the cover. Illustrations are super bright and colorful, covering every inch of every page. Fairly small, this is a good book to tuck into a bag to take along outside the house.
