5- LARGE SWEET ONIONS, SLICED, 12 RITZ-TYPE CRACKERS, CRUSHED, 1-LB. BROWN & SERVE SAUSAGE, CRUMBLED, 1-10-3/4OZ. CAN CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP, 1/2 TSP. SEASONED SALT, 1/2C. CHEDDAR CHEESE. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400. PLACE HALF OF THE ONIONS ON BOTTOM OF 9X13 INCH  BAKING PAN COATED WITH PAM. LAYER WITH CRUSHED CRACKERS, SAUSAGE, REMAINING ONIONS, SOUP, SALT AND CHEESE, BAKE FOR 1 HOUR, TILL GOLDEN, THEN SERVE.
