I enjoyed this read. Well written, was easy to follow. This guy was a master of all trades from boxer to jewel thief and more. One person doing all this i found quite interesting. His life was packed full of interest on these pages.

I tried on this one, I really did, but life is too short to read bad books. I have read novels before set in turn of the 20th century, and although the ones I have finished were full of antiquated jargon like this one, the dialog combined with a jumbled storyline lost me early.

A fun read about a real life turn-of-the century icon. The real McCoy is a man of many talents & faces: a championship boxer, jewel thief, scam artist & one of the most married men in America. The story unfolds against the backdrop of American history. The real McCoy's story becomes a fascinating story as he becomes a legend & a symbol of all that's true in America. The novel is about identity, illusion, & the accomplishment of a lifelong love.
