This is an excellent book about a young girl-woman's life in Communist China as a rising opera star then she becomes a Christian. Communist China is a terrible place for anyone to live. Sunshine's family is moved all over and separated by the government, but God answers her mom and grandfather's prayers in a wonderful way. If you ever doubt that God Answers prayers, please read this book.
