Absolutely excellent book. The romance is so sweet and sincere. Samantha's Mother's dementia will make you want to cry and feel so bad with families trying to deal with this disease. The animals are wonderful. One of the best books I read this year. I highly recommend it.
There was A LOT of grinning, snorting, and scoffing from the characters in this book.
Also, whatever happened to that swallowed earbud (bizarre part of the story), did it ever exit? Inquiring minds are wondering. Although far from my favorite AJ book, I will still read anything she writes!
