I like Spenser books. I was reading Ace Atkins' books, both fiction and non-fiction, before he was tapped to continue the Spenser franchise. I enjoyed his blues mysteries and his Quinn Colson books. Spenser books are best for when you are tired of heavy reading and just want something to whiz through in a weekend or so.
