I really enjoy well written Amish fiction. I live close to an Amish community so it is always interesting to see how well researched the author is. Rosemary Opens Her Heart is wonderful. In fact, I loved this book! I want to read the whole series now! This is the second book, but I'm planning on going back to get the first.

There is just something about the simple life that sings to me. Rosemary is a great character whom's struggles are real, physically and spiritually. She still loves her late husband and knows that she could possibly come to love Matt, but she's not ready. She will do what is expected of her by her in-laws, and she knows that there is something special about Matt, but is it the right choice for her and Katie?

A heart-warming story that is clean, simple and just beautiful. I couldn't put the story down, I was so immersed in Rosemary's tale. If you enjoy Amish fiction, I'd recommend Rosemary Opens Her Heart. It's an excellent read!
