Once again, Gilstrap has written an action packed narrative. There were some areas where he introduced characters who appeared to be destined for bigger things but when push came to shove, they were left out of the action. One of the characters, the owner of the island who was also a clandestine arms dealer, was somehow able to escape off the island. How was he able to do so without a means of transport? And, apparently the staff of the island resort were locked in a barracks/dormitory without any guards and yet did nothing to enhance or detract from the plot. Despite these minor glitches, it was an enjoyable read and I'll keep on with the Jonathon Grave series.
