A thriller much better than average, taking place in the rural swamps of Louisiana, but it had a few too many characters to keep track of for my reading taste. All the same, I am now on to the next Quinn and Costa novel...

Great page-turner! I am going back to read the other books in the series and look forward to the new releases. I appreciated the procedural elements, the way Kara conects with suspects while undercover, and how the team she's on is becoming a found family for her. The title lets you know that there are a lot of murders in the book, but it wasn't over the top gory - I could read before bed without bad dreams.

This was the first Kara Quinn book I've read; I'm ready and willing to read more, so I hope it doesn't matter if they are read out of order. Seven Girls Gone is definitely suspenseful and would make a good thriller movie. Having been to a swamp in the south before, I could somewhat picture the bayou settings and the eeriness of it. Filled with small town corruption, murders, upstanding law-enforcers, wondering who is trust-worthy, problem-solving, unique settings and intrigue, it kept my husband and I guessing.
