Creston Mapes is a writer well known for his thrilling plots and realistic characters. And Sky Zone is no different. It starts off with a terrorist threat and just builds in momentum til the very end. I found myself racing through the book to see how everything turns out and what happens to Shakespeare, Jack and Pam along with Margaret, Sheena, Clarissa, Chico, etc.
Jack and Shakespeare are working security at the presidential rally when a threat comes in from Homeland Security. Chatter was heard with no definite details on what the attack might entail. The story line goes back and forth between present day and several months ago. You see Jack and Pam at Brian(Shakespeare) and Sheena's house as Brian is warning them about the coming dangers and attacks that might happen on America. At the time Jack and Pam think of him as kind of loony or a nut case. But as things progress there comes a bit of a turning point. As I mentioned above, this is a suspense/thriller that has you guessing what will happen next, every time you turn the page. Lots of mystery involved! Love books like these!
