It's cute. I can't say there is a great level of depth in the plot or drawing style, but I do find Nicole's love of fairy tales and her rich inner world endearing in a heroine.
I will probably pick up volume 2 at some point to see how everything ends, but I think I can predict what sort of ending Ganter has in store.
