I recently found him.....started to read his books and I really like them.  Especially the Holly Baker Series. Unfortunately, I started the third one first and then the 4th, which is the last,  which I loved.  I then ordered the first two and am now reading them all out of order.

However, in the last one, Iron Orchid, the bad guy gets away!  Gooood story!!!!   So, I went to Stuart Woods website and emailed him to ask if he is going to do another Holly Baker  book with the same bad guy character, and he answered me!!   He said yes!!

So.....I just ordered 5 Stone Barrington character books by him.   More on my Mt. TBR Pile!!!!

I'm one of the few people that doesn't care for Stone ( he sleeps around too much for me).  I loved many of Woods earlier books but he wrote so many Stone Barrington books in a row that I got really tired of the character.  That's cool that he emailed you.  About 5 years ago.he was married to the cousin of the husband of a lady that I know.  She was quite a bit younger..so he may have moved on by now :)  I did like Iron Orchid.

Hi Nicki;   Did you read the other Holly Baker Series books?  They're really good!  In one of the books, he brought Stone into her story because she was getting "horny"!!!

Yes..I have read all of his books..and I did like the Holly character.  I think White Cargo is one of my favorite Woods books and it is an old old one.  He got in his Stone Barrington rut and I didn't think he was ever going to write about another character.  It's so much fun to find a new author..so I am glad you are enjoying him.  I shouldn't let a character's loose morals bother me..it's only a book..it's only a book :)

I love Stuart Woods, and Stone Barrington.  They are fun, quick reads!  I like the Holly Barker books, but Stone is my favorite!  His Will Lee (? - can't remember the character name for sure) books are good too.

I agree Melissa; they are quick and fun reads.  I just finished Short Straw with a character named Ed Eagle, which I really enjoyed.

I love Stone Barrington and Holly Barker. There is also Will Lee to contend with too.

Right now I'm reading his newest one- Shoot Him if He Runs.    Stone, Holly and Will are in this book.  I'm only at page 100,  and it is good so far---not great, but good.  All of his books are fast reads.  It is a library book, so I can't help anyone if it is wishlisted.

I have only read one of his books and found it too predictible.  I have two other books of his so I should give him another try.  I do not like predictible books.

I love his stuff.  Made my way through all the "Stone" books and read the "Holly" books, too.  Have Shoot HIm if He Runs on my wishlist.  I haven't read the Will Lee...but do fine these to be fun, quick reads.

I generally like his stuff, but I'm burned out on Stone.  He's a slut and he eats at Elaine's waaaaaaay too often.  That and the name-dropping!

I need to catch up on the Holly Barker series.
