I found this book at the thrift store and it came in very handy when we inherited a cockatiel. It was very helpful in learning how to care for Big Bird. She lived to be about 16 years old.
Chapters include: an Introduction; Choosing the Bird; Diet; Equipment; Taming; Special Behavior Problems; Training; First Aid and Breeding. Book also contains many color pictures of the birds themselves, and illustrations of different types of care.
