This book examines how teaching is not considered a profession due to how others - i.e. non-educational workers - view it. From "short work days" to "three months of summer vacations," it tells it like it is. Unless you're single, teachers must hold two-three jobs just to keep their heads above water. One question ... if people think teachers have it so easy, how come there aren't more of them?
