I just can not get enough of this series. I read this book in one day. I am on vacation so had that luxury. Lauraine Snelling has a way of making you fall in love with every character she introduces in this series as well as all the original characters. She also continues to give us how life was back then and how they all coped with the way of life. I loved the introduction of he Singer Sewing Machine!

Sometimes the get a little sad, but these people survived so much and were so strong. What a wonderful author. I love the talks and struggles with God the characters have.
