I had so much in common with the author that I was genuinely grateful to have this book in my hands. This book is separated into two parts. The first part is her story, from conception, to diagnosis, to today. I loved reading it and felt connected to her in a personal way. The second part is a mountain of information. Teaching, informing and encouraging, she puts it best when she says "Knowledge is Power", and I think that's so true. She even includes a recommended reading list. Wonderful book!!
