This book had potential, but it was a let down. It wasn't a complete waste of time, but it pretty much ended 20 pages before it actually did. Yet she kept talking. And talking. This book was also very poorly edited. When refering to God, He should be capitalized as well. Sometimes it was, sometimes it wasn't. She jumped around so often it was hard to pick up on what time frame she was refering to. The little "mini chapters" within each chapter really made it choppy and elementary. She would refer to some things that seemed important and then they kinda faded into how her marriage was crappy. Then she would concentrate and put some things into detail that I didn't really care about. Whoever "helped her put her feelings down onto paper" should really look into a different profession. I really wanted to like this book, and although it had it's good parts, it was not very good.

I first decided to read this book just to see her point of view. What I didn't think would happen was, finding a person who I really look up to and respect. I also enjoyed how it was written because it was as if she was just sitting down talking to you instead of writing her thoughts down in plain type. Enjoyed this book and really admire and respect Lynne Spears more now.

This is Lynne Spears story of her family. I found that she tended to jump from one subject to the other, sometimes briefly telling about one thing and then jumping to another subject. She really did portray a more positive light on her children other than what the media has done. It was basically what we had already read, but just portrayed in a positive light.

Pretty good. But the book definitely jumps around a lot. But it makes me appreciate Lynne Spears for her. She has a strong faith that I think has only gotten stronger through everything her family has faced. I think she's done the best she can as a mother from the south who could have never imagined the world of fame and fortune.

I really enjoyed this book. Lynne Spears gives the reader insight into the crazy world of fame. Never in her wildest dreams did she expect Britney to become such a superstar. It was like a freight train that they were thrown in front of. She describes how her faith and love of family help them survive.

I enjoyed this book. I am not a big britney fan but I love to read true books. worth the point in trade.but not a keeper for your collection.

I liked it. Its not one of those OH WOW! books. But it was a slow interesting read.

I did not think that I would enjoy this book but I did. Lynne Spears comes across as a normal loving mother trying to see her family through extraordinary circumstances. The publisher of this book is a Christian publishing house, and much of the book focuses on the author's spiritual journey.
