A sweet simple romance, not about a jaw dropping beauty, but a plain girl with a heart of gold. Who learns she doesn't have to settle for just anything.
I love this book, and would never give it up, but I have 2 copies. I've read it several times, and would most definitely read it again.
My favorite book by Lori Wick - it will be difficult to part with I loved it so much. Its great to read and then read again.
This is the second book in the series of The Californians. The series is very good.

We really enjoyed this whole series! Takes you back to the 1800's and how they lived with no cell phones/TV/electricity and they didn't complain!!
