I have sat on juries as a member for court trials, and in the service I was sometimes a junior member of court-martial boards. It is hard to remember more boring times that those. So I have to admire a writer who can make reading about court trials page-turners.
I have read most of Grisham's books and enjoyed them all, except for his first "Camino Island" book, which was published in 2017. I felt that book was a bomb, and wondered if Grisham had lost it. This one, published in 2020 convinces me he hasn't. I read it almost straight through in a couple of days.
