Lucinda is a young woman at a finishing school when WW1 is going on. Her best friend leaves school because she is going to have a baby and with the war getting closer to the door the ladies have to flee for their homes Lucinda is ascorted back by Major Marcus Merrivale.With secrets and the invasion that is killing their world. Lucinda is not sure she will find love and true happiness.
