Would any of you be interested in having some type of book directory? Like a section with threads for certain types of books such as pirates, beauty and the beast, reformed rakes and those big misunderstandings which are never sorted out until the last ten pages. I'm still beyond frustrated in my search for my older historical romance novel. I've spent hours searching on here and still nothing. And I don't know about everyone else but I often come across a certain type of book with a plot I really enjoy and would love to find other books similar. It's not always easy to find what you're looking for though. I know you can search by subject but even then you don't always get the results you want. Perhaps if we all contributed we could create some type of helpful directory. And we along with new members could check there for the types of books they and we are looking for. It would be like a wiki only located in the forums. What do you guys think? lol I'm kind of new here so if this has already been suggested or it in fact exists and I'm too stupid to see it I apologize in advance.

If  you go "My Account", "My Lists" there is a section for book recommendations which is based upon other books you have ordered.

Also, check out the forum for "Historical Fiction". There are many good recommendations in there, too.

If you look below the "main" forums there are other forums one of which is romance. You could post in there looking for the type of histrical romances you are looking for to see if anyone could recommed any.

Tanya, try this web site StoryCode.com, it gives recommendations on what to read next based on the information you give it.

Look around this website.  Go to Reader's Choice.

http://www.likesbooks.com/

They have romance book listings by subject, time periods, etc.  For example: arranged marriages, May/December romances.

They also have "If you Like....
