A wonderful devotional treasure to read and re-read. Calvin Miller has been one of my favorite authors for many years - probably most of my career as a bookseller. Reading this book helps me see the depth of his Christian life as an author. He takes some of the best portions of the old classic authors and weaves them into his commentary. Reminds me of Richard Foster's similar book on the classics of Christian writings. A definite 5-star rating in my opinion
