My husband read this book and really enjoyed it...he says that he learned things about the military that he didn't know. He found it very interesting and informative. He has read several of the Uncle John's Barthroom Readers and enjoys all of them.

While dated, 2009, this book has a wealth of interesting facts about all branches of the military, some obscure some well known. There are a few errors in some of the references, such a when the author references the tv show M.A.A.H. he erroneously says that Col Potter was killed in a plane crash on his way home instead of Col Blake. And when referencing the tv show Hogan's Heroes he states that the show is built around the prisoner's attempts to escape. But other than these few errors the book is well worth the read. Pick up a copy and enjoy
