I truly enjoyed reading the Victor. It took me until the end of the 1st chapter to really start to get involved in the characters lives. Afterwards the book became hard to put down! I enjoyed not knowing exactly what would happen and who would win the throne.

I won this book in the Goodreads.com first reads giveaway! The book started out very slow and I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I'm glad I stuck with it because it did pick up around chapter 2 or 3. This is a religious allegory, but it's also a story of Kings, Princes, Knights, etc. Anyone who enjoys books of that genre would most likely enjoy this book whether they are relious or not.
