I would NOT recommend this. The idea is a good one, I suppose, but I kept getting a distinct urge to slap every gay character in the book--repeatedly--except for Cameron. Jesse is also a very unsympathetic character and, with the exception of a few places, I just wanted to beat the redneck crap out of him. The summary sounds so very much better than the story; I'd recommend that you just imagine your own story. It's probably much better.
