Nice continuation of the ESRI series, this one about Charlie's brother Harrison, another Sitheen who the ESRI couldn't enchant. The story takes up where the last book ended. The tension and interaction between ESRI Princess Ilaria and Harrison, while he is guarding and hiding her from King Rith until she can close the gates was the basis for the tale. Single dad Harrison becomes one heck of a warrior by the end of the book and actually finds some magic of his own. Saying anything more would be a real spoiler but I did enjoy the story
