This book is well-written and explores the link many of us have between love and the comfort of food. If you are struggling with compulsive eating or binging, this book can help you find your way toward a healthy relationship with food.
Great book for compulsive eaters. I'm still missing a little of the connection between love and food because I didn't experience a bad or unlovable childhood but so many uh ha moments that you just want to keep with you and repeat to yourself before you mindlsly eat.
I really like this author's style of writing. I thought I might identify more with the concept of substituting food for love, but am happy to say I have progressed past that painful challenge. The words were familiar but more like a distant memory of the way things used to be. Very healing.
