The story is interesting but the heroine is annoying and I could barely get through the book. She is whiny, nosy, and a know-it-all. She pouts when her private detective grandfather won't tell her about his cases. I would have thought she should have been written as an old lady sitting in a window watching the neighborhood with binoculars instead of a young woman. I could barely get through the book because I dislike her so much.
